Danubyu
Danubyu is a town in Ayeyarwaddy Division of Lower Myanmar. The town is famous for battle ground between British and Burmese troops during first Anglo-Burmese War. The Battle of Danubyu was fought on April 2, 1825 between the British and Burmese.The British were led by Sir Archibald Campbell, while the Burmese were led by Maha Bandula. The British won the battle and Bandula was killed.
