Kandawgyi lake
Kandawgyi Lake is a smaller of two lakes that located in the middle Yangon city. It is located at the east of Shwedagon Pagoda and from it one could get spectacular views of Shwedagon pagoda. It is also a very good spot to come relax from busy and crowded city, its walkway are well shaded by natural trees. To top it all man make wooden walkway over the water make it more interesting and enjoyable stroll.
There are a lot of park and restaurants around and near the lake; one in particular is very famous for its unique architecture of concrete royal barge in the lake.
