Inya lake
One of two lakes that is located in the middle Yangon city. It is about 5 times larger than its sister lake Kandawgyi. The Inya lake sit between Pyi Road and KabaAye Pagoda Road.
Inya Lake is famous for its side walk on the bank and squash fritters "buthi-kyaw" from the restaurants near the lake. It is also “the” lover hide out, where young couples of Yangon hide away from busy city.
The areas around the lakeshores are occupied embassy, college, government buildings and house of wealthy elite.
